Fabie began with Tipton as a student intern and is currently the director of the Interior Design studio.

She was named the 2020 Emerging Professional by LSBID (Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Interior Designers) and is a past president of the International Interior Design Association Delta Regional Chapter. Because of her leadership, Tipton’s Interior Design studio has evolved a collaborative, hands-on approach to all phases of design that blurs the boundary between Architecture and Interior. Fabie particularly values the power of hand-sketching ideas to speak to any audience.

Fabie brings to the team not only the Office Dog, but a curiosity for interior finishes. She and her team explore how finishes are maintained, how they perform over time, and how all aspects can excel within the parameters of the budget. Her passion for learning and problem solving abilities assure a space that will perform for the end-user for years to come. Her favorite experience at Tipton so far has been learning and teaching: seeing herself and others grow in the face of challenges is a gratifying inspiration.
