Community Center, Carolina Meadows Retirement Community

Prior to the redesign, The Carolina Meadows Community Center was home to the one dining venue for Independent Living and a kitchen that served the entire community. The client’s goals included designing needed updates for the future and a dining environment that would do justice to the chefs who prepared the meals. The Community Center now has a Marketplace Cafe and Pub for casual dining, Courtyard Dining for more elegant fare, and a Bakery/Coffee Shop—all served by a repositioned Central Kitchen. Tipton Associates was responsible for all aspects of the building interiors and food service design of the multi-phased project. Attention to detail ensured that dining would continue for all residents throughout the construction.
