Caneview K-8

Caneview K-8 is one of the first new schools to be built in West Baton Rouge Parish in over fifty years. The new facility—which will serve kindergarten through 8th grade students and include a Head Start program for children ages 3-5—replaces two smaller schools in the northeastern part of the parish. Situated on an exceptionally large parcel of property, this school will be able to expand along with the parish and serve as an anchor for future developments in local education. The facility features a library/media center, gymnasium, and cafeteria. Specialty classrooms include a maker space, art classroom, science lab, band room, Head Start, and pre kindergarten.
