Kensy has known she wanted to be an architect since she was twelve years old, realizing that her primary interests—entrepreneurship and teaching—could both be found there.

As an architect, she aspires to aid lower income communities in the global south in creating a functional and enjoyable living environment. At LSU, she served as vice president of the National Organization for Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS) chapter. She values time with family and friends and is in the process of rediscovering literature in Spanish as well as becoming an elite Yelp reviewer. International travel inspires her design, from her childhood in Honduras to her study-abroad experience in Paris. She hopes to travel to South America in the near future.
