Alexis was drawn to architecture as a teenager for its relation to math and art. As she learned more about the profession, she came to appreciate its impact and reach. In designing spaces that create and support community, an architect touches the lives of many she never meets.
Alexis enjoys taking an idea from an owner and transforming it into reality. She is interested in the various systems of architecture that overlap and make a space. She is also passionate about sustainability, renovations, and adaptive reuse.
In her free time, Alexis likes to knit and crochet; she hopes to take up sewing in order to make her own clothes.
