The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) announced its 2025 award winners recently, shining a light on dining concepts, operations, facilities, and other innovative elements in the intricate web of campus dining. We’re thrilled to share that two of our recent projects received recognition:
Purdue Memorial Union (Purdue University/Aramark, in association with Workshop Architects)
Retail Sales: Marketplace of the Year – Gold
The $47 million transformation of a basement-level space brings twelve new venues, an improved convenience store, and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, from Boilermaker alum Drew Brees. Read more here.
Samford University, The Caf (Samford University/Aramark)
Residential Dining Facility of the Year – Silver
The $10 million renovation of The Caf creates an open-concept dining hall with 16 individual food stations in a 20,000 sf space. Students enjoy made-to-order dining and building fellowship with the campus community. Read more here.
