This spring, Tipton Associates welcomed Fabie Derbigny, NCIDQ, as a firm principal. Fabie makes history as our first Interior Designer stakeholder in the firm’s 146-year history, and only the second female stakeholder, joining Erin Morgan.
A graduate of the LSU School of Interior Design (’11), Fabie first joined Tipton as a student intern in 2010. She has been instrumental in Tipton’s growth and success in the past fifteen years, serving on the firm’s Operations Council and as Lead Interior Designer on award-winning projects throughout the state and across the country, where Tipton has worked with more than 180 campuses in 30+ states. In 2020, Fabie was named Emerging Professional by the LSBID (Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Interior Designers). She is a past president of the International Interior Design Association’s Delta Regional Chapter.
“Fabie’s talent was evident from the moment she joined us as an intern,” said managing principal Ken Tipton.” Her thoughtful approach, quiet confidence, and collaborative spirit make her a natural leader and trusted partner to clients.”
