A new year brings a new school for West Baton Rouge Parish. The paint is dry, and we’re thrilled that our innovative 83,000 sf school finally has students inside.
“It’s a brand new facility,” Caneview principal Laree Taylor tells WAFB. “We’ve got the state of the art electronics for our teachers, we have everything you could possibly want in a brand new 21st century school.”
“The new rooms allow for more natural light and power, which school officials say is critical to keeping students focused and engaged with 21st-century lessons that incorporate more technology,” writes The Advocate.
The school is one of the first to be built in West Baton Rouge Parish in over fifty years. Read more about the project here. Now get to class!
