Tipton Sponsors MidCity Neighborhood Challenge

This weekend Tipton was the title sponsor for the community event MidCity Neighborhood Challenge. During this one-day challenge neighbors in the MidCity area come together to work on specific projects in their neighborhoods. The projects included improvements and a garden addition to the Youth Oasis in Ogden Park and improvements to the Henry Service Center in Capital Heights. Members of the Tipton team judged the projects and ultimately chose the Poets and Philosophers neighborhood as the winner for their signage and neighborhood branding project. After the event participants gathered for a crawfish boil in the courtyard of the Tipton office.
