Built in 1927, and one of the oldest schools in Baton Rouge, this school was in dire need of rehabilitation. The project drew special attention as it had become a local landmark, nestled in a Mid City neighborhood. Completed in August 2013, the newly renovated school proudly boasts a new lobby entrance to greet students, parents and guests. New windows, flooring, ceilings and lighting, completely renovated restrooms, new air conditioning in the cafeteria, and a new computer lab helped to improve the learning environment of this deserving school.
