SonJa joined Tipton in 2016, formally establishing a Human Resources department in our growing company. She brings extensive experience in creating and maintaining effective HR functions from her prior eighteen years as a Human Resource Director.

SonJa seamlessly manages all Human Resource activities throughout Tipton.  She is a good listener, whose dependability, candor, and approachability are a bonus to her scope of talents as an HR generalist. Passionate about people, SonJa has also taken over the role of office management administrator, where no task is too large or too small if it helps the team. She is fascinated by the emergence of tracking technology. Her favorite experience during her time here has been watching the Tipton Family rally around each other in good times and bad, with unwavering commitment.

SonJa enjoys scrapbooking and working with mixed media, particularly as a way to share with friends and family. She values quality time spent with family (especially her growing number of grandkids), participating at church and in car shows with her husband, and volunteering.
