He distinguished himself at LSU, serving as president for Students for Historic Preservation. As an architect, Francis gravitates toward classical architecture, historic, preservation, and adaptive reuse, finding a timeless story and a reflection of the artist/craftsperson within every detail. He has always been interested in the pursuit of Beauty and sought a profession that would compliment his love for drawing while offering something more. With buildings and the built environment being the backdrop of almost every moment of our lives, architecture was a natural interest for him. By reviving and revitalizing existing structures, he aims to continue a building’s story.
Francis is fluent in Vietnamese, which he speaks at home. In his free time, he enjoys drawing, photography, cycling, fencing, soccer, and reading, particularly science fiction with its power to envision a better world by challenging the conditions of our current environment.
