New 31,000 square-foot Student Commons

Catholic High School Student Commons

Replacing the existing student union, The Student Commons is the first new construction in over a decade on the historic Baton Rouge campus. The new space is designed to facilitate the entire student body (1,100) at one lunch period, rather than dispersing the students over three lunch periods as their current facility demands. The first floor, entirely dedicated to student dining, will easily convert to host the school’s many community-oriented events serving the greater school community. The second floor provides additional classrooms, campus ministry, and a teacher workroom and lounge.
