Bernard Terrace Elemenary School Renovations, EBRPSS

Rehabilitation of 1927 neighborhood elementary school

Built in 1927, and one of the oldest schools in Baton Rouge, this school was in dire need of rehabilitation. Nestled in its Mid-City neighborhood, the project drew special attention as it had become a local landmark. Completed in August 2013, the newly renovated school proudly boasts a new lobby entrance to greet students, parents and guests. New windows, flooring, ceilings and lighting, completely renovated restrooms, new air conditioning in the cafeteria and a new computer lab helped to improve the learning environment of this deserving school.
